QuickBooks Online Integration

Connecting to QuickBooks Online

To connect to a QuickBooks Online account complete the following steps:

  1. Click on the gear icon at the top right
  2. Click on “Settings” in the left menu
  3. Click on “Integration” in the left menu under “Settings”
  4. Click on the “Edit” button
  5. Select “Master in case of conflict” and then click “Save”
  6. Click on the “Connect to QuickBooks” button
  7. Follow steps to access and connect to your QuickBooks Online account

Syncing with QuickBooks Online

When there are additions or changes to Chart of Accounts, Groups, Vendors, Customers, or Items in your Spendwise account the additions or changes will automatically be pushed to your QuickBooks Online account within a few seconds. 

When there are additions or changes to Chart of Accounts, Classes, Vendors, Customers, or Items in your QuickBooks Online account changes will automatically be pushed to your Spendwise account within five to ten minutes.

Chart of Accounts, Groups/Classes, Vendors, Customers and Items can be synced manually at any time by completing the following steps:

  1. Click on the gear icon at the top right
  2. Click on “Settings” in the left menu
  3. Click on “Integration” in the left menu under “Settings”
  4. Click on the “Sync Now” button

Bills can be transferred from Spendwise to QuickBooks by completing the following steps:

  1. Click on “Home” in the top menu
  2. Click on “Bills” in the left menu
  3. Check box to left of bill Number for any bill you want to transfer
  4. Click on “More” button at top of page
  5. Click on “Transfer to QuickBooks”

Sync issues

To see a list of any sync issues complete the following steps:

  1. Click on the gear icon at the top right
  2. Click on “Settings” in the left menu
  3. Click on “Integration” in the left menu under “Settings”
  4. Go to the bottom of the page to see list of any

Disconnecting from QuickBooks Online

To disconnect from QuickBooks Online complete the following steps:

  1. Click on the gear icon at the top right
  2. Click on "Settings" in the left menu
  3. Click on "Integration" in the left menu under "Settings"
  4. Click on the "Disconnect" button
