Overview
Contacts are vendors and/or customers. To access contacts click "Contacts" in the top menu. To see only vendors click "Vendors" in the left menu if applicable. To see only customers click "Customers" in the left menu if applicable. To sort list of contacts click on the column header name for the criteria you want to sort by. To filter the list of contacts click on the "Filters" button, select filters and click "Save" and to remove filters click the "Reset" button.
Adding contacts
Users can add contacts one at a time or by importing a list of contacts from a CSV file.
To add contacts one at a time complete the following steps:
- Click on "Contacts" in the top menu
- Click on the "+ New Contact" button above the list of contacts
- Enter contact information
- Click the "Save" or the "Save + New" button at to bottom of the contact form

Editing contacts
To edit contacts complete the following steps:
- Click on "Contacts" in the top menu
- Click on the contact that you want to edit
- Click on the "Edit" button
- Make changes and then click on the "Save" or "Save + New" button at the bottom of the form
Deleting contacts
Users can delete contacts one at a time or in bulk.
To delete contacts one at a time complete the following steps:
- Click on "Contacts" in the top menu
- Click on the contact that you want to delete
- Click on the "More" button
- Click on "Delete" in the dropdown
To delete contacts in bulk complete the following steps:
- Click on "Contacts" in the top menu
- Click on the checkbox to the left of "Contact ID" for each contact that you want to delete
- Click on the "More" button
- Click on "Delete" in the dropdown
Note that contacts that are tied to transactions cannot be deleted.
Making contacts active or inactive
Users can make contacts active or inactive one at a time or in bulk.
To make contacts active or inactive one at a time complete the following steps:
- Click on "Contacts" in the top menu
- Click on the contact that you want to make active or inactive
- Click on the "More" button
- Click on "Active" or "Inactive" in the dropdown
To make contacts active or inactive in bulk complete the following steps:
- Click on "Contacts" in the top menu
- Click on the checkbox to the left of "Contact ID" for each contact that you want to make active or inactive
- Click on the "More" button
- Click on "Active" or "Inactive" in the dropdown
Exporting contacts
Users can export contacts by completing the following steps:
- Click on "Contacts" in the top menu
- Click on the "Export" button
- Select what contact data you want to export then click "OK"
Note that any filters set on the list of contacts when user clicks on the "Export" button will be applied to the export.
