We’re excited to share that we are in the process of updating the Spendwise user interface as part of an ongoing effort to improve the overall user experience and make it easier for us to continue improving and adding new features.
To help ensure a smooth transition, these updates are being rolled out gradually over time.
Upcoming Updates
The next set of updates will be rolled out in the next few weeks and will focus primarily on updating the home page and dashboards in Spendwise.
While some pages may look a little different after the update, the goal is to make the platform more intuitive, consistent and easier to navigate.
Previous Updates (click to expand)
On April 30, 2026, we rolled out the first set of updates, which focused primarily on refreshing the overall look and feel of Spendwise.
These updates included:
- Updated colors
- Updated fonts
- General visual and consistency improvements
These changes were designed to modernize the appearance of Spendwise while keeping existing workflows and functionality familiar.
The next set of updates were rolled out on May 13, 2026 and focused primarily on menus, buttons and list pages.
The main changes were:
- Moving the Home menu to the right and relocating some top menu items to the left menu
- Moving some buttons from the left to the right side of the screen
- Adding a new “Transactions” menu and grouping existing left menu items underneath it
With this new layout, users can now minimize the left menu to make for more usable screen space:
The most recent set of updates were rolled out on June 4, 2026 and focused primarily on forms throughout Spendwise.
The main changes included:
- Reconfiguring form layouts so the fields that require the most attention are more prominent
- Adding save buttons to the top right of forms and pinning them so they are always visible
- Improving the formatting and organization of detail information to make forms easier to review
- Creating separate sections for attachments and approvers to improve visibility and usability
Will My Workflows Change?
Most workflows and functionality will remain the same. These updates are primarily focused on improving usability, navigation, consistency, and the overall experience within Spendwise.
